This hidden gem is located just off Monroe Boulevard on South Haven's South Side.  Turn off the main road and you're turning away from the rest of the world.  A shaded drive leads to "Lake Daze" - a three bedroom, two bathroom cottage.  A lovely wooded lot offers a place to play, explore and gather your family around the fire pit.  Tuck into a comfy spot in the screened porch at Lake Daze Cottage and turn off your phone.

The interior is modern and open, with a vaulted ceiling that highlights a corner fireplace.  A fully equipped open kitchen blends your mealtimes and gathering spaces together.  Keep the sliders open to the screened porch to hear the evening songbirds, crickets and the sounds of Lake Michigan in the distance.

The main level has a bedroom with queen bed and a full bath. Up the stairway to the second level is second bedroom with a queen bed, a jack and jill bath, and a third bedroom with twin over queen bunk bed and a Peloton exercise bike. The main level also offers a sleeper sofa. There's space for your entire family plus Lake Daze Cottage welcomes your furry family members as well.

For sunset views, walk to the end of 3rd Street where you'll have access to the neighborhood association's viewing deck. Venture out to Monroe Boulevard to head towards Kids Corner Park and the locally famous Blue Stairs for access to Lake Michigan's beautiful shoreline.  Pick up the Van Buren Trail, a wide paved pathway, to the Van Buren State Park or into downtown South Haven.  Looking for dog-friendly beaches?  Pilgrim Haven, Deerlick and a portion of the Van Buren State Park welcome dogs with well-behaved owners.
