This spacious, nicely appointed home is located in the Miami Park neighborhood. A short walk away are amazing views of Lake Michigan sunsets and an electric tram to the shoreline. Plenty of yard games and beach gear is provided to allow you to travel lighter. Multiple decks with outdoor furniture beg for you to relax and enjoy the lake breeze with a glass of wine or a favorite book.
The location can't be beat for exploring the areas dining, shopping, wine tasting, etc. A 10 minute drive gets you to downtown South Haven and a 20 minute drive north takes you to the communities of Saugatuck and Douglas. In between are plenty of farm markets, u-pick produce, and family fun!
A Note About the Trams: Electric trams are available along the bluff to traverse the 90 foot bluff. The trams are maintained by the neighborhood association, and Shores cannot guarantee that trams will be fully functional every day of your stay. The association may need to close the trams to address repairs, routine maintenance or recharging the batteries that provide the power to move the platforms. Guests are asked to follow the tram operating instructions so the trams stay operational for everyone in the neighborhood.
Miami Park Shoreline: The shoreline at Miami Park can change from season to season. As of late August, the trams bring you down to an sandy area above the waterline, with stairs & steps into the lake at either end of the sandy area. The most recent photos are shared in the listing. Please note that this property does not have a code for the stairs; please plan to use the tram.

We loved staying at this house. It was super close to the lake and the trams made accessing the lake convenient. The house was spacious and clean. Our only complaint was that there was only one towel set (bath towel & hand towel) per person, no beach towels, and no shampoo/conditioner/soap in the showers. A few extra bath towels in each bathroom would have been great. Beach towels would have also been much appreciated. Places that we have stayed in for a similar price point, usually include extra towels and shampoo/conditioner/soap in the showers. Other than these things, the place was great. I would stay here again. (August-September 2024)

We stayed for a long weekend with teenagers and adult children (couples). The short walk to the private beach is lovely - its maybe the equivalent of 1/4 of a block, the tram down was easy, and the small private beach was a perfect spot to relax and watch the sunset. We drove into south haven to the public beach for our beach day, and into Saugatuck another day to rent a donut boat. The house is perfect for lounging, separate bedrooms and bathrooms, great kitchen and open floor plan. You can sit out on the deck or in the yard but this is a small residential neighborhood so we didnt use the outdoor spaces as much. We would absolutely stay here again. (August 2024)

Booked this for a girls trip and it was great! South Haven and Saugatuck were both easily accessible. Comfortably fit 8 of us. Lots of space to spread out and chat and spend time together. A very short walk to the beach for a beautiful view was lots of fun! (July 2024)

The house was perfect for our group of 12 ranging in ages from 14 to 76. It was very clean and felt like home. It has a extremly spacious kitchen, dining, and living rooms making it perfect for large groups. The location was perfect, just steps from the lake and super close to downtown. We are already planning on returning next year! (June 2024)

Literally one of the cleanest Airbnb weve stayed at. Was there for Thanksgiving weekend and had kitchen with a lot of utensils and super clean and modern! Three stories- note no bedroom on main floor (for any elderly folks with trouble going upstairs) toilet paper well stocked for a week. Just make sure you bring your toiletries. Great location on the beach a tram ride away w nearby downtown and stores (November 2023)
