Beach Access: Neighborhood provides private tram-system to access private community beach
*Miami Park Shoreline: The shoreline at Miami Park can change from season to season. As of late August, the trams bring you down to an sandy area above the waterline, with stairs & steps into the lake at either end of the sandy area
Tram Access: Electric trams are available along the bluff to traverse the 90 foot bluff. The trams are maintained by the neighborhood association, and Shores cannot guarantee that trams will be fully functional every day of your stay. The association may need to close the trams to address repairs, routine maintenance or recharging the batteries that provide the power to move the platforms. Guests are asked to follow the tram operating instructions so the trams stay operational for everyone in the neighborhood

The place is brand new and we enjoyed staying there very much. The host was very proactive and responsive. We wish there was beach access from the street the house was on, didn't really understand the tram thing and stay wasn't long enough to inquire about it, but overall it was a great value and we would stay there again. We had a wonderful stay overall. The house is lovely with many great amenities. We loved the beach, and everyone in the neighborhood was very friendly. Would be nice if the location could upgrade the mattresses. The crinkly waterproof mattress protector didnt help either. (June 2024)

Stayed for a long weekend in October and fell in love with the place and area. The house is set up great for kids and pets, and cooking in their organized kitchen was wonderful. The hot tub felt great after a day of hiking and checking out the various breweries/wineries and shops in the area. The dog-friendly beach was stunning. Casa Blanca was a beautiful home that was very conveniently located. We were able to run into South Haven within minutes as well as visit Saugatuck and Holland within 15-30 mins. The home was so close to Lake Michigan too. We enjoy taking walks and this was the perfect distance to get there. We got caught in the rain one day and got muddy but had a great time anyway! The private beach is outstanding and watching the sunsets were priceless. The tram was easy to use too. The home itself had all of the necessary items to make us comfortable and it was clean and had an open floor plan. The backyard was spacious but because of the rain the furniture was wet so we didnt use it much. Overall we were very pleased and plan to come back. It had been 10 years since we visited Michigan and this was our first time to South Haven. We loved the area and what it had to offer. When you visit, you wont be disappointed!

This was a beautiful house. The only minus was that the private beach was not at all good for swimming because it was so rocky at the water - no sand bottom. We almost always rent properties with access to private beaches so we dont have to drive to a public beach and so its less crowded, and this was quite disappointing and not clear from the listing.

The team at Shores Vacation Rental is excellent. Before, during, and even after our stay they did everything they could to ensure a great trip. Every member was friendly and helpful. They assisted with property features and questions and made great recommendations for what to do, see, and eat in the South Haven area.
